Danielle Hill is a passionate practitioner in the development field. She lives by the definition of sustainable development from the United Nations’ Brundtland Report: "Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
Danielle has traveled to many parts of the world exploring different definitions of development, public health, and sustainability. She has a BA in Spanish and International Relations from the University of Connecticut in 2011 and an MA in Sustainable Development and Policy Advocacy from the School for International Training in 2015. Danielle is passionate about child literacy and started a Little Free Library in her neighborhood and loves to swim in her free time. Danielle lives in Simsbury, CT with her husband and son.
